Chesterfield Counseling Associates has recently become aware of fraudulent job postings and employment offers being made by individuals falsely representing our practice.

The unauthorized job postings have been reported and removed; however, we have learned that individuals associated with this scam may still be contacting people who previously applied, including sending fraudulent employment contracts or offers that appear to come from Chesterfield Counseling Associates.

Please be aware these communications are not from Chesterfield Counseling Associates.
Any legitimate employment opportunity with our practice will be communicated directly through authorized representatives of Chesterfield Counseling Associates. If you receive an employment offer, contract, or other communication and are unsure whether it is legitimate, please contact our office directly using the contact information published on this website before providing any personal, financial, banking, or identification information.

Chesterfield Counseling Associates will never require an applicant to send money, purchase equipment, cash or deposit a check and return funds, or provide banking information as a condition of receiving a job offer.

We regret that individuals seeking employment have been targeted by this scam and encourage anyone who receives a suspicious communication claiming to represent Chesterfield Counseling Associates to contact us so that we can help verify whether the communication is legitimate.

Are you a graduate student looking for an internship? Do you want to learn more about being in a professional private practice?

​As an intern at Chesterfield Counseling you will have weekly, one-on-one supervision with an experienced practitioner who is interested in seeing you learn and grow. You will have the opportunity to attend lunch n’ learns, case conferences, and other meetings where you are taught about how to grow a private practice. Our interns also get paid for their work with clients.

Please note we only accept new interns beginning in January (for the Spring semester), and in August (for the Fall semester). You can intern during the summer semester as long as you have already started the previous semester in January. We also accept applications a few months in advance to ensure we have time to interview and place our interns, so please apply several months early for the Spring or Fall semester.
