Abby Montgomery

Provisionally Licensed (PLPC)

Abby is passionate about helping teens and young adults feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Through her work in behavioral health and clinical mental health counseling, she has developed a deep appreciation for creating a safe and supportive space where clients can openly process their experiences and begin healing. She believes that meaningful change begins when individuals feel genuinely understood and accepted.

She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University and has experience working with individuals in crisis through her role in behavioral health. Her clinical experience has strengthened her ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and emotional regulation difficulties.

Abby’s counseling approach is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. She believes each person has the capacity for growth and healing, and she works alongside clients to identify their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create lasting change.

Her goal is to help teens and young adults feel empowered in their healing journey while fostering hope, resilience, and greater self-understanding as they move through different stages of life.
