Sydney Walker

Graduate Student Intern

Sydney is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a background in Division I athletics, corporate environments, entrepreneurship, and years of experience teaching yoga, Pilates, and fitness, she understands the pressure to perform, succeed, and hold it all together.

She believes meaningful change begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to make the uncomfortable feel approachable by creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. Through authentic connection, direct guidance, and personalized care, she helps clients build insight, develop practical skills, and create lasting change.

Sydney takes an integrative, whole-person approach to therapy, blending evidence-based modalities with mind-body practices. She is EMDR trained and Reiki certified, bringing a strong knowledge of the connection between the nervous system, emotions, and physical well-being. She incorporates somatic techniques alongside practical tools to help clients move beyond insight alone and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, adjusting to a major life transition, strengthening relationships, or learning to quiet your inner critic, Sydney strives to create a space where you feel empowered, understood, and equipped to move forward with confidence.
